Why Snowstorm?
We love adventuring in cold, snowy places. Alongside the amazing nature, chance to connect with yourself and the sense of wonder, one of our favourite things about adventure travel is the people you meet long the way. Somehow friendships get deeper, quicker when you are on a trip in nature together!
We created Snowstorm Adventures to help you experience the magic of Norwegian winter whilst meeting like-minded people and having a great time.
Trips that are difficult to organise yourself
Cool routes, cozy huts, gentle ski instruction, wilderness and mountains. We offer you trips you can enjoy without stressing about the logistics.
Destinations that feel like another world
With snow, low temperatures and remote mountain towns only accessible by train you can feel like you have been transported to another realm.
Slow down and focus on being here and now
Ski-walking brings a slower pace to life. We encourage you to leave the technology behind and we intentionally program time to rest and relax.
Travel with like-minded people
Share time with people who also want to explore the wilderness but in a wholesome way. Share exquisite moments and either say farewell or maybe you make friendships that last.
What to Expect

Experience Norwegian winter in the mountains. It has a life of its own and can be wild, magical and grounding.

Travel by cross country ski. Don't know how to ski? No problem, join a beginners trip and we'll teach you.

Time to stop. We don't fill every second of your schedule with activity because half the enjoyment is having time to just be.

Feelings of being remote and being wild.

Small groups between 6 and 8 guests and a qualified guide. The chance to get to know everyone.

Shared accommodation in Norwegian DNT cabins: Hot water, a soft bed and space to dry our clothes will feel like luxuries.

Trips with camping include high quality 4 season mountain tents, designed for snow and we teach you the art of carving the perfect living space from snow.

Plenty of encouragement and support for learning new skills like skiing or travelling in the cold.
