Need some help figuring out how Nordic skiing works?
This very quick intro could be for you.
If you've just arrived to Finse, want to get out and have rented some skis but haven't a clue how to use them we can help.
If you:
-
Want someone to show you how to use the skis to get around
-
Want to feel a bit less terrified on the downhills
-
Want to know how to use the sticked trails and what to take with you
Then join us for a three hour session where we will show you everything you need to get started. After we see how you're getting on your guide can give you some ideas where could be a good first tour for you to take yourself on.
What's our attitude to learning?
The best skiiers are without a doubt the ones having the most fun.
We can't turn you into a Norwegian ski-racing-demon in three hours but we can show you enough you can get out there safely and have a great time exploring a magical little area of the Hardangervidda.
Want more than a quick fix?
If you really want to get to grips with the nordic skiing and some of the mountain skills that go with it, we run three day introduction courses.
